Personality: Nerina is a quiet girl who lets her actions speak for themselves instead wasting unnecessary words. Acting on her instinct, she rarely relies on her emotions and has a rather empirical attitude towards the world – If you don’t have a proof for your words then it never happened. This is also the reason why she never prejudices someone by their looks or first impressions as both can be very deceiving and “Never judge a book by its cover” is sort of a life motto for her. Having grown up on the street and forced to do lots of unmoral things to survive, she has a certain degree of understanding for actions some people take in desperate times that others judge as unmoral, crime or shameful. For her it is just another way of survival. But as the world she lives in isn’t that understandable, she always tries to help the children that can’t escape the street and spare them the hatred and disapproval the rest of the world has for them. But being a mercenary and traveler she never stays long on one place and thus never being able to be a firm support for them. Though she claims she never believed in any God, she can feel strong hope when it comes to the outcome of something important, but she always describes it as her stubbornness.

History: Nerina comes originally from AshBriar, from a small fisher village where she was born and raised in her early childhood by her parents and two older siblings. Being a Hybrid of Human mother and AquaDraconis father, she has less expressed draconic visual features then her father but she still inherited the ability to change her appearance into a visually full blooded AquaDraconis (Humanoid with much expressed Dragon features, or Humanoid Dragon how some people like to describe them) and the connection to the element of Water. She can sense when a storm is coming and control the form of water to a certain degree, like forming a water whip or stopping the raindrops just above her to avoid being soaked. She is also very sensitive to the moon phases, just like the ocean and using the water through plants she can track down her enemies or assigned target.
Her life in AshBriar was cut short when a gang of pirates robbed and burned the village, taking the children as slaves and selling them on the black market. They kept Nerina a while on the ship as someone noticed that she can sense the weather changes, but sold her away in a sea town when she fell ill. There she was nursed and sold further, ending ultimately in Xana. There she was forced by the slave owner to work many different jobs with a lousy payment, such as barmaid, illusionist, exotic dancer and even as a prostitute for she was well known for her unusual appearance as she had fair, bluish skin unlike the native Xana’ns who were all tanned by the sun. How she was growing physically so did she mentally and the rebel in her became stronger with every day. One day she killed her owner when he wanted to sell her to the King and she refused, leading into a fight. Using the chance she escaped and lived few years on the streets of Xana, stealing and murdering for money, gaining her first reputation as mercenary. Later she left Xana in her search for her home and her family, as she didn’t remember her childhood very well anymore nor the name of her village. This is another reason why she lived as a mercenary – a mercenary always finds information, by one mean or another, and meets different people, giving her the possibility to find a lead to her lost memories.
As a mercenary she has a strange reputation for always doing her job perfectly without an evidence or trace, but also for refusing the job after the first phase of examining the target. No matter what kind of life she leads, the morals her father thought her were rooted deep in her heart and she would not kill a target that was wrongly accused or prejudiced, unless there is a very good reason hidden behind the order.

Additional facts:
she is claustrophobic which is another reason why she loves to spend lots of time under the free sky
she sleeps in the open rather than in towns, as she doesn’t like crowded places nor lots of people in general
hates cats because she can never tell what they think or predict how they will react
the hair jewels were given to her by her close friend that worked as a belly dancer and prostitute in the same tavern as Nerina and she promised to always wear them as not to forget her – the poor girl was killed during the clash between Nerina and the slave owner
the shape changing weapon was found by her in old ruins upon which she stumbled during her trip through the dessert after she escaped from Xana – an unusual four bladed chakram that can split into two halves and who’s blades can form and elongate by the wishes of its wielder
she uses the chakram mostly in the form of twin flame swords or double bladed swords
she learned fighting from the Dessert Whisperers – a group of nomads that live in the dessert and survive by attacking unwanted guests and caravans

Seriously, I died while drawing the hair D: I had to draw it three times again from scratch because it wouldn't turn out how I imagined it. But now I’m quite pleased with it ^,^
Also, I finally figured out how to draw vectors in manga studio XD I can’t believe I was such a noob and didn’t notice it until now – the only thing you have to do is change the layer type to vector and that’s it XD The tools and the comfiness of using them stays the same
